Les rumeurs allaient bon train concernant the Ocean Thunder World Surf Rowing Championships 2010. Mais l'information officielle est tombée par mail jeudi dernier :
"Please be advised that this event has been postponed for 2010. The reason for the event being postponed was the withdrawal of the sponsor in late January. The City of Biarritz have asked the organisers to pursue the event with a view to conducting it in 2011. The organisers are in discussions with a sponsor for an event in 2011 and will keep all interested persons in contact with information but only when it is definite."
Veuillez noter que l’événement a été ajourné pour 2010. La raison de l’ajournement de la manifestation est le retrait du sponsor fin janvier. La Ville de Biarritz a demandé aux organisateurs de poursuivre l’événement dans la perspective de le reconduire en 2011. Les organisateurs sont en discussions avec un sponsor pour un événement en 2011 et tiendrons informées toutes les personnes intéressées mais seulement quand ceci sera définitif
